Changing Welcome Screen of Windows XP, from name it seems to be a very handy task for anyone but believe me it will become a child play for you after a few minutes. Although Windows XP old Welcome Screen is very much attractive but after seeing it so many times, I feel myself bored and I started finding out way to change it.
To get started, you will need to download a copy of LogonStudio at Stardock’s Web site:
After downloading and Installing the software you need to download Windows Welcome Screen to use with it. Download cool Windows XP Welcome Screen from :
“ http://www.wincustomize.com/explore/logonstudio_xp# ”.Once you have finished downloading of Windows Welcome Screen files, double click the file to open it but make sure that they have a .logonxp file extension. In case if they are in zip file extension, then rename them to .logonXp extention, to make it compatible to import in Welcome Screen software.
For importing a Welcome Screen, you can directly double click the .logonxp file or open the Logon Studio software. Once the software opens, click on Import to upload the Welcome Screen from your hard drive. After uploading a file it display its preview in its right preview panel, if you like it then click Apply to save the setting or if don’t then repeat this step again for next Welcome Screen. At last click ok to get finished.
Changing of Welcome Screen is very easy. Just click on the file that you like or import a new file from your hard disk. After that click Apply, then OK
Note :-
In some cases, depending on your hardware you may experience some problem with Welcome Screens. One of the major thing behind this is using a high resolution monitors. In these type of monitors, it is very difficult task to set a welcome Screen, for this you have to search for a high resolution Welcome Screen. Finding a high resolution Welcome Screen is a very difficult task also. So, if you are face this type of problem then you are out of luck.
