Modifying the Windows XP Boot Screen

Every time when I sit in front of my computer I am forced to see the old boring Windows Login Screen. Although I must admit that, the blue moving lines are very attractive at first, after few months it’s become boring for me. Although Microsoft is not providing any built in features or facilities to change Boot Screen but it is still possible .

Changing Boot Screen
The image which we see in Boot is hidden in system file called “ntoskrnl.exe”. This system file is loaded during the system boot and display image that we see while Boot.

The Problems of changing the Boot Screen
If you download a Boot Screen and change it with the older Boot Screen on your computer, After restarting,  you may find an error message. “ C:\windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe” not found or corrupt. This is the most common problem an user find while changing the Boot Screen. Actually the main reason behind this is, user had replaced the System file with the file that doesn’t support the version of Windows XP or in other words , It is not compatible with the version of Windows XP.
Windows XP was released in many  different languages in different part of the world. Each language version XP has different version of code. So, all of these result in many different versions of the Boot Screen file hanging around on the web.
